Summary: Team TARDIS have a run-in with a Villain Ray.

The TARDIS door swung open and a hulking mass of white fur squeezed itself inside. The bear straightened itself and turned, stalking toward the console, paws as big as frying pans raised menacingly as if ready to rip the entire area to shreds.

“Oh, stop it, you’re not fooling anyone,” squeaked an odd furry snake with a hamster face, slipping in through a vent.

“But Amy, they turned me into an evil bear, I have to act evil,” the bear replied all too calmly in Rory’s voice, causing the hamster-snake to make a hissy squeaky little noise that may have been a laugh.

The Doctor spun into the TARDIS looking very much his usual self with the exception of the horns protruding from his wave of hair. “Okay, right, Villain Ray, that’s new.  I can reverse the effects, though, no worries!  Just try not to act on any more of the thoughts it’s placing in your head, enough damage done for one day, eh?”

“Oh, I don’t know that my thoughts are too much different than usual,” River purred as she slinked in behind the Doctor, cat ears peeking through her curls and a lithe tail swishing behind. “Besides, I kind of like the horns, Doctor, they go so well with my halo.”

Slightly flustered, the Doctor turned his attention to fiddling with the controls on the console and with a gold pulse, they morphed back into their normal forms.

“Ah well, I suppose I could always see if the TARDIS could place some costumes in the wardrobe – the mind races with the possibilities,” River said with a mischievous twinkle in her eye, as the Doctor tried desperately to ignore the looks from Amy and Rory.
